    A team of the National Commission for Minorities (NCM) visited the riot affected areas of western Assam on 11-12 August 2012. The NCM's report ended up communalising the riots in Assam thereby contributing to the risks of the fleeing North Easterners. Should the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes visit the areas to counter the report of the NCM?     Briefing Papers for the 10th session of the APF

    On 24-26 August 2005, the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions will hold its 10th Annual Session in Ulaanbator, Mongolia. In a series of Briefing Papers cum weekly ACHR REVIEW, leading upto 10th Annual Session, Asian Centre for Human Rights will examine the functioning of the National Human Rights Institutions of Thailand, India and Nepal, and the thematic issues to be discussed at the 10th session.
